Week 4 - Planning Our Time

Now that we've looked at our goal, established those goals, looked at our time, and found snippets of time to fit in our goals - it's time to actually make the time for those goals!

Making time for goals is never easy because we are pre-programmed to do everything for everyone else and not focus on the most vital person in our lives - ourselves! This week will be about planning our time and putting that plan into action.

Attached here, you will find a PDF spreadsheet that is super simple to use. Print it out, create it yourself, or ask me for the xls and map out your time. I have included an example in the document. You could even utilize your own planner, but write down your commitments for the week and then stick to your plan.

Sticking to the plan is going to be one of the hardest things to do! When things creep up in our schedule that are 'unplanned' we need to evaluate if they are an obstacle or barrier. How will we overcome these and still stick to our plan? Is this an obstacle that we can move out of our way or defer for now? Is this a barrier that we must solve before getting back on our plan?

Ask yourself...

1) Does this situation deter my plans?

2) Can this situation wait until my plans are done?

3) What can I do to overcome this situation right now - in this exact moment?

If you cannot solve the issue right now, then set it aside to deal with after you have finished your current plans. You've got this! We can get through this week and stick to our plans!!!

Here is the worksheet for Week 4. We will be talking about this on Sunday and filling it out during the Jumpstart - in person on Sunday!
